Tyson Harness sings Tenor. He is the son of the late John Harness, one of the original members of Reliance. He was involved in ministry with the Celebrant Singers in his teens, and then began a career at the local hospital as a Respiratory Therapist. He has been deeply involved in the music department at his home church and is excited for the opportunity to serve with Reliance.
For Stephen Anastasia, singing lead with Reliance cumulates his deeply seated love for Christ, a call to music ministry, and a lifetime love for singing harmony. Stephen has performed as a classical vocalist singing opera, oratorio, and choral music for over a decade, but he has always cherished singing the old hymns and gospel songs with friends and family. His education includes a BM from CSULB and an MFA from UC Irvine. When he isn't singing with Reliance, Stephen stays busy as the Minister of Music at Long Beach First Church of the Nazarene, teaching music at Mt. San Antonio College and Cal Poly Pomona, and being a Daddy to his three busy little girls.
